November 24 sees the return of Dark Horses with their new single, ‘XIII’, released on Tricky Spirits Records. Underpinned by an insistent, pulsing synthesizer, singer Lisa Elle paints a ghostly dystopian scene in which every one of us is broken down into data, our individuality and expression stripped back to numbers and algorithms.
As the razor-sharp guitars crash in, she urges you to run… because what else is there left to do in a world where the rich and powerful can tap deep into our inner psyche at the click of a button and the smell of a few dollars more?
To support the release of ‘XIII’, Dark Horses head out across Europe for a short run of dates with their partners in darkness, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. It's a cracking return from Dark Horses and a new album will follow next year. The band have also previously been out as support to The Dandy Warhols, Beck, Kasabian and Sigur Ros, been A-listed at BBC 6Music, and won support everywhere from NME, Q Magazine, Clash Magazine, Mojo, The 405, The Line Of Best Fit, Artrocker, Dazed & Confused, The Independent and The Sunday Times.
