Co-headlining metal tours have long been a staple of the American circuit but they are relatively rare here in Europe. There are increasing signs that this is changing. Recent tours by Megadeth & Lamb of God and Kreator, Sepultura, & Soilwork gave us a taste and are now followed by two co-headline tours this year from the Nuclear Blast stable.
Once again Kreator are involved, this time with Norway’s Dimmu Borgir, whose recent album is the standout metal record of the year so far. Hatebreed and Bloodbath complete an eclectic lineup.
Before that, Orange Goblin and Corrosion of Conformity will hit the road for eight dates around the UK with LA retro rock band Fireball Ministry and Leeds/London based stoner rockers Black Moth.
